The Airbus headquarters are located in Toulouse, France, but the company has factories all around the world. One of them is located in Hamburg and has become an important attraction in the last couple of years. The company organizes tours around the factory for curious visitors, making them acquainted with the airplane manufacturing process. To enter the facilities, you need to make a reservation in advance due to security checks. The minimal age for visitors to be allowed to enter is fourteen.

Getting there: 

The Airbus plant is located near the river Elbe, on the Kreetslag street number 10. Best way to get there is by car, as subway and train stations are far from the factory area.

Ål in Hallingdal is a ski resort located between Geilo and Hemsedal where you find two ski centres, one of Norways’s longest toboggan hills and 400 km of cross country tracks.

Primarilly a cross country skiers resort, for which it is world famous, with an incredible amount of terrain. Downhillers will find very limited slopes about 20 minutes out of town, the biggest at Arber.

At the German-speaking end of the rail-link included Gstaad ski pass and now lift linked to the ski areas above neighbouring Saanemöser, St. Stephan and Schönried.
