Known as private://the World’s only 7-star hotelprivate://, Burj Al Arab is the most iconic landmark of Dubai. It is an impressive monument where traditional Arabian culture is mixed with modernistic spirit of the city. Burj Al Arab literally translates as ‘Tower of the Arabs’ and the building represents a sail of a historical type of Arabian vessel, the dhow.

Burj AL Arab is the 4th-tallest hotel in the world. It was opened in 1999 with the purpose of attracting the richest tourists in the world. There are 202 bedroom suites in the hotel, all of which are immensely huge, with the smallest one covering an area of 169 m2. The suite-only accommodation offers a private reception on every floor and personal butlers.
The most luxurious suite in Burj Al Arab is the Royal Suite, which was quoted by CNN as one of the 15 most expensive hotel suits in the world. Besides extravagant rooms, this hotel has upscale restaurants and bars attracting world’s rich people. One of the restaurants worth mentioning is Al Mahara, which features a vast seawater aquarium.

Getting there: 

The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island connected by a bridge with the Jumeirah Beach. The address of the hotel is Jumeira 3. You can get there by taxi but note that there is no possibility for a regular tourist just to go there and hang around.
