The choice of accommodation is vast and good value for your money, whether youth hostel or luxury hotel. The Engadine has everything you need to relax or exercise. Here you find the ultimate in winter sports fun for boarders and skiers, novices and experts. A total of 56 aerial and surface lifts can carry as many as 65,000 people an hour. At 1,700 to 3,300m asl 350 km of pistes are waiting to be discovered. Switzerland's largest Nordic skiing region offers 180 km of trails.

Haukelifjell

Haukelifjell ski resort has 6 ski lifts + a magic carpet (free) and 13 runs of varying difficulty. The total length of the skiable area is 15 kilometres, and the drop is 305 metres and the longest piste is 3000 meters.

The ski resort Meiringen-Hasliberg, situated between 1080 and 2344 meters of altitude, is especially suitable for families. You will mainly find slopes of moderate difficulty here.

The elegant town of Merano / Meran is linked by two-stage cable car to its own extensive ski area and is also on the 265km Ortler ski pass, which brings in another ten neighbouring centres.

Located four kilometres (two-and-a-half miles) from the village of Mijanès, on the sides of Canrusc mountain between 1500 and 2000 meters high, the winter ski resort of Mijanès - Donezan is a real alternative to the next big resorts.
