Zadov – Churá?ov is well-known winter and summer recreation and sports center of south Šumava. Ski resort Zadov- Churá?ov is one of the largest winter resorts of Šumava and it is located 15 kilometers from Vimperk, on the border with Šumava National Park. Thanks to the mild and moderate profile of slopes is this resort very popular for family vacations.. Ideal easy terrain of Šumavský Forest and prepared trails attract the lovers of cross-country skiing. In summer is this place full of mountain biking lovers.

The villages Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg are located in the ski area Dachstein West Lammertal in the Dachstein Mountains. The ski area has slopes for all levels of difficulty available.

The Dachstein is actually better known in summer than in winter. No surprise being the first glacier in the eastern Alps.
