Waterville Valley has long been a popular destination for Bean Town skiers and riders. Former owner Tom Corcoran played host to many a prominent Bostonian, including members of the Kennedy clan.

Grand Targhee offers 2,602 acres of terrain on two mountains (2,000 lift-served; 602 guided cat skiing) with every inch covered by our legendary Wyoming snow (averaging over 500 inches a year)!
The prices are the big reason to ski at Great Divide, because they are always far less than their bigger competitors. The snow is well-managed and there is a 1,330 vertical drop.
Eldora opened for skiing in 1962. The summit elevation of 10,800 feet means there is plenty of natural snow. There are 680 acres of skiable terrain with the longest run three miles long.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort plenty of snow dumps all season long spread out over 1547 acres. There's a private://go-for-it, wahoo...private:// attitude that prevails among friendly, loose skiers who favor its terrain.
