Just about 45 kilometres from Salzburg - directly near the highway - on 1,000 to 2,300 metres above sea level, you find the family-friendly skiing area of Werfenweng. Werfenweng attracts most all families, senior citizens and those who enjoy winter sports. Altogether the 10 lifts and a gondola have the capacity to carry 10,000 people per hour to the 25 km of excellently prepared slopes. Snow is guaranteed through the use of snow machines. Additionally we offer a race-track, 6 kilometres of sledging and a special area for children and beginners.
