Myrkdalen Hotel
The brand new Myrkdalen Hotel in Voss Fjellandsby is in a perfect setting at the foot of the ski slopes, 25 minutes from the centre of Voss and about 2 hours from Bergen. The architects were inspired by international mountain hotels in Austria and Switzerland, which is reflected in both the interiors and the amenities offered. At Myrkdalen Hotel, you will feel like a guest at a hotel of a high international standard, but you won't find hospitality like ours anywhere else.
The hotel has spacious rooms and stylish furnishings with pleasing colours and high-quality furniture. Most rooms can accommodate four people or more. All rooms have stunning views of either the mountains or the beautiful scenery of the Myrkdalen valley. Some rooms have their own balcony. All rooms also have a flat screen TV, a desk and bathroom.
There are three different restaurants at the hotel. A family restaurant serving pizza and pasta. The open kitchen has a stone oven to ensure that your Italian pizza is of the very best quality. A fondue restaurant, inspired by the Swiss cuisine. The hotel's head chef has been to Switzerland and learned the secret behind a good fondue. The main restaurant has an à la carte menu that focuses on good local produce with a European touch.
Myrkdalen Hotel also has a cosy reception area with a bar, and an après-ski bar with live music and a DJ. There is also a separate playing room for the kids and a game room with Playstation, Wii and Xbox.
