Ski Turecká / Krížna (Ski Turecká) is located in the Great Fatra Mountains, about 16 km away from the city of Banská Bystrica, behind the village of Turecká, on the southern slopes of Krížna mountain ( 1574 m). In the ski resort of Turecká / Krížna are all kinds of downhill slopes. The longest slope is nearly 3.5 km long and is one of the longest ski slopes in Slovakia. This resort is popular for people who like mountaineering skiing. Directly in the ski resort of Turecká / Krížna is accommodation in a lower standard facilities (lodge, hostel). Ski Turkey is one of the most interesting Slovak ski resorts.
