Telluride's mix of quality terrain spread out all over their 1700 acres of skiable terrain offers something for all skiing and snowboarding abilities. There's plenty of challenge, including the famous Plunge into town as well as expert hike-to terrain located on Bald Mountain, the Gold Hill Chutes, in Black Iron Bowl and Palmyra Peak. Runs like See Forever and the 4.6 mile Galloping Goose will satisfy both intermediate and beginner skiers and riders. An environmentally sensitive gondola transportation system brings you from the town to the mountain. Two high-speed gondolas and seven high-speed quads make getting around a breeze. The gondola makes for easy travel day and night between the village and the old town. The town of Telluride is an iconic place with plenty of lodging and dining options for guests of the resort.

The ski area Almenwelt LOFER, situated in Salzburg’s Saalachtal, has many well-groomed slopes to offer.
