The Tauplitz is one of the oldest and most snow secure ski resorts of Styria, a never-to-be-forgotten landscape surrounded by the Totes Gebirge and the beautiful Grimming. This unique ski resort has got snow security, charme and esprit. Innovations: The 6-passenger chairlift Lawinenstein with Bubbles, the 4-passenger chairlift Schneiderkogel and the double ski tow Großsee, new slopes, the snow making system for the Tauplitzalm, the slope to Tauplitz and the Grafenwiesen lift.

The villages Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg are located in the ski area Dachstein West Lammertal in the Dachstein Mountains. The ski area has slopes for all levels of difficulty available.

The Dachstein is actually better known in summer than in winter. No surprise being the first glacier in the eastern Alps.
