Location
Sydney Tower is Sydney's tallest free-standing structure, and the second tallest in Australia. It stands 309 m above the Sydney central business district (CBD), and offers fantastic views over Sydney from the observation deck and the revolving restaurant.
Four sections of the tower are open to public: 360 Bar and Dining, which offers revolving views of the Sydney skyline; Sydney Tower Buffet, a contemporary self-select restaurant; Sky Venue, the highest event space in the Southern Hemisphere; and the observation deck currently called the Sydney Tower Eye. The deck is located on level four of Sydney Tower. It offers high powered binoculars and multilingual touch screen panels that tell facts about the famous landmarks they are looking at. At the base of the tower there is also a shopping center.
