Sunlight Mountain sits above the town of Glenwood Springs, essentially between Vail and Aspen. This family-oriented resort is a worthy alternative to either mega-resort for a few days. They boast a 2,010-foot vertical drop and there's often plenty of untracked powder. Sunlight offers beautiful views of majestic Mount Sopris and the surrounding Elk Mountain Range, as well as hundreds of acres of mild greens, intermediate slopes and black diamond extremes to satisfy all levels of abilities.
