General info:

The highest observation tower in the USA is Las Vegas’ Stratosphere. The tower rises about 350 meters to the sky and is used as a luxurious hotel and casino. It is the northernmost of all the venues of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Stratosphere is known as the best spot in Las Vegas for a panoramic view of the city. Its renewed restaurant on the top brings lots of tourists, same as its casinos. However, the biggest attractions of the Stratosphere are the Thrill Rides.

Even if you aren’t an adrenaline junkie, you must be impressed by the Stratosphere Thrill Rides. There are 4 options offered. The Big Shot starts at 308 meters and it’s currently the highest thrill ride in the world. The world’s second and third-highest are also here – the Insanity and the X-Scream. There is also a Bungee jump-like ride named SkyJump Las Vegas.

Getting there:

The address of the Stratosphere tower is 2000 S Las Vegas Blvd, which is on the northern boundary of the Las Vegas Strip. The bus stations Main (S) and Baltimore (N) are very close, while the closest monorail station, Sahara, is some 600 meters to the south.

Costs:

To get into the tower, you’ll need to pay $18.00. The prices of thrill rides differ:
Big Shot - $15.00
X-Scream - $15.00
Insanity - $15.00
SkyJump – starts from $109.99
