The geography and elevation of Stevens Pass in the North Central Cascades (78 miles from Seattle), combined with dry wind from the east, make snow conditions unbeatable. Skiers and riders get 1,800 vertical feet on three sides of two different mountains. Stevens averages 450 inches of snowfall annually on 1,125 acres of skiable terrain. The terrain ranges from expert only, to smooth, wide-open cruising runs for all levels of snow sports enthusiasts. The trails near six lifts are lit for night skiing and riding several nights a week. Stevens has two terrain parks: Top Phlight Terrain Park, for serious rippers, and Dog Dunes for tamer ones.
