General info:

The beach of the Prince is one of the most beautiful beaches of the whole Costa Smeralda. The name comes from the prince Aga Khan who loved this beach and decided to buy 10km of this shoreline to himself. The sea here does sparkle like a jewel, reflecting in the diamonds and platinum of those who flock to this ‘millionaires’ playground’.
The beach is like a big arch of very fine sand in a rock setting, surrounded by Mediterranean maquis. The enchanting colour and the water clearness are due to the granite depth. The beach is divided in two parts by a big rock that emerges from the shoreline.

Getting there:

Spiaggia del Principe, is more exclusive and does not have as clear and signposted access as for example the beaches like Cala Liscia Ruia and Spiaggia Capriccioli.
To arrive here, pass the retro-chic,fantasy Moroccan/troglodyte-style Cala di Volpe hotel to the right and before Capriccioli take the junction for Romazzino on the left. Head north and near the resort (0.5 miles) turn right towards the sea and after 300 metres downhill arrive at the car barrier. A short mule track — about 10 minutes on foot— leads to the shore.

Costs:

Everything else in Costa Smeralda is superexpensive but this beach is for free!
