The water of the Sonnanen lake is unusually clear and according to some, it is the second clearest lake in Finland. Sonnanen is popular among freedivers and the world record under ice free diving has been made here.

Like many clear lakes in Finland, Sonnanen is also based on a natural spring. On the south side of the lake, there is a public beach but no facilities.

Åre is located in the central part of Sweden, and is one of Scandinavia's largest ski resorts, consisting of 5 ski areas with a total of 40 ski lifts and 103 runs.

Vemdalen is located in the central part of Sweden, only 500 km from the capital, Stockholm.

Tänndalen is located in Funäsdalen, 580 km from Stockholm, and is considered to be one of the most snow-secure ski areas in Sweden. Funäsdalen has a unique snow guarantee which promises at least 5 runs open from November 1st to May 1st.

Tandådalen/Hundfjället is located in Sälen, one of the biggest ski areas in Sweden. The Sälen ski resort includes the ski areas of Kläppen, Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen, Hundfjället and Stöten.
