Located a mile down canyon from neighboring resort Alta, Snowbird offers a challenging brand of skiing and riding, along with enough intermediate terrain to entertain guests of average ability. Snowbird has 2,500 acres to play in with 11 lifts serving 89 runs. The area is 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, making same-day arrivals and skiing a logistical reality.
