The ski center Skalka arena is located in the Kremnické hills. The resort has really good conditions for skiing because of it´s location. Skalka arena is a part of the resort Skalka pri Kremnici. The slope is equipped with a four-seat chairlift and it is covered by a snowmaking system. It is suitable for more advanced skiers. There is also a buffet, a relax center and a restaurant. He resort also provides accommodation in hotels, apartments and guest houses. It has got perfect conditions for cross-country skiing. The Biela stopa cross-country race takes place in this resort annually. Five more slopes and five more lifts are in this center, but you have to buy a different skipass in order to use them.
