San Domenico is a quiete and little alpine village located at 1420 metres altitude by Varzo town, in Ossola Valley - Piedmont region - northern Italy. The resort is situated in the Lepontine Alps chain - Simplon pass area. San Domenico is the start point for: Alpe Ciamporino's ski runs and lifts in winter - Alpe Veglia natural park in summer. You can easily get to San Domenico from Switzerland and northern Europe through the near Simplon pass.
