In a hilly landscape, at the bottom of Dormillouse [2500m], with some forests, is there Saint-Jean Montclar ski resort with its two ski fields.

Ristolas has a small ski area with three parallel drag lifts, but is close to the larger village of Abries, with which it is jointly marketed, that has a larger ski area including a new six seater chair lifts.

Roccaraso - Rivisondoli

A traditional hillside village with three separate ski areas in the mountains above together providing a good mix of ski conditions and gradients. There is a huge modern hotel complex at Aremogna (1625m) with doorstep skiing.
