The ski area Soelden in the Oetztal and the city of Soelden are amongst the best-known destinations in Austria. As world cup location and one of the most famous ski and snowboard centres in the Alps, Soelden has lots of attractive features for snowboarders, skiers and carvers. The altitude which goes up to over 3.000 meters allows for good snow conditions and the funpark is well known. The spacious ski area Soelden offers a huge diversity of slopes for all levels of difficulty as well as perfectly groomed pistes and modern lifts. The two glaciers - Rettenbachferner and Tiefenbachferner are open from September until May. Closest Airport to Soelden is Innsbruck, but it is also easy to reach from Munich, Memmingen/Allgaeu and Salzburg Airport.
