Tyrol Basin, located near Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, has long been known around the heartland for its skiing and snowboarding. The area annually hosts a summer jam in June that draws up to 500 to 600 riders from all over the Midwest.

Kåbdalis is the best place for winter sports in the Jokkmokk area, Northern Sweden.
