Røldal is situated between Bergen and Stavanger, and is known to be extremely snow-secure. The resort offers green pistes, as well as challenging off-piste skiing in a steep rocky terrain. The chair-lift transports everyone to the top of the ski area. There is also a beginners' lift with a heated cabin close by for eating or taking a break, making it perfect for beginners and families and beginners. There are 3 additional surface lifts for the more experienced skiers. The upper lift takes you to an altitude of 1284m, and offers a spectacular view of the Røldal Lake and the nearby mountain ranges.
