General info:

Red Mountain Resort is one of the oldest and most famous ski resorts in Canada. It was the site of the first World Cup race in the nation and the location of the Canadian Downhill Championships. Olympic gold medalists Kerrin Lee-Gartner and Nancy Greene are among Red Resort's famous ski racers. Red offers two peaks, 1,596 acres of skiable terrain, and 2,900 vertical feet of all-natural snow and an additional 4,000 acres just outside the resort boundary. The resort just expanded by adding 1000 acres of new terrain on Grey Mountain. You will find terrain covered with an abundance of the light, dry powder the Monashee Mountains are known for, and perfectly spaced trees that protect the snow for days after it's fallen. Choose from wide-open groomed slopes or tree runs with untouched powder. Whether you're a beginner or expert, Red is a welcome retreat from the scene at over-crowded resorts.
