General info:

Piancavallo is a charming village located in the pordenonese mountain and made up by some suggestive little districts. A 25 km of slopes give the magic opportunity to enjoy oneself along the slopes of both Tremol and Sauc mountains while 26 km are addressed to the cross-country skiers and 2 areas are set up one for the snowboarders and the other for children. Besides, the ski-resort, thanks to the Alpine Coaster and the Tremol chair-lift opening, works as well during the summertime. In fact, in the sunny and far-flung valley there’s not only the chance to practice winter sports but to enjoy as well the hot season by focusing oneself on summer activities like climbing, trekking, mountain biking and many more… Moreover, the whole area is surrounded by enchanting places to visit: the Barcis lake (where it is possible to sail and windsurf) the Tramontina valley, the Pradis’ green caves and many more.. There’s also a detail that makes these mountains beautiful all year-round: when the sky is clear, if you stand in the highest summits, it is possible to admire the wonderful view of both the Venetian lagoon and the Adriatic sea. A wonder not to be miss!!! Absolutely!

The slopes in the ski area Disentis 3000 are well-groomed and very diverse. Most of the pistes are rather steep but still not too demanding. A 12 km long slope starting at the Péz Ault spans 1700 m of altitude.

Doucy Combelouvière has been carefully designed respecting the village tradition of regrouping chalet-style buildings around a central square making it the focal point of the resort.

The most southern ski mountain in the region of Villach (at an altitude of 680 m - 1600 m) has been the centre of attraction for sporty locals from the Lower Gail valley since the 1930s.
