General info:

Berchtesgaden is a key Bavarian resort, active year-round, with six ski centres nearby. It has formerly put in bids to stage the Winter Olympics. A very pretty village with excellent accommodation and dining options. The resort includes the village of Schönau am Konigsee, a small centre included in the area lift pass. It has small drag lifts on the wooded slopes above the village, close to the Jenner ski area. Jenner itself has the main slopes of the five main Berchtesgaden ski areas, being cable-car served. The lift pass covers most other lifts in the area on either side of the border and accommodation and extensive off-slope facilities are available in Berchtesgaden. The Federal training centre for German women's Alpine skiing and snowboarding is located at Goetschen.

Starý Smokovec

The ski resort Starý smokovec offers more than just skiing. There are easy and moderate slopes , so it is suitable for beginners and also more advanced skiers. You can get to Hrebienok by a ground cable car.

Snowbasin

Often overlooked because of the famous resorts in Park City and the Cottonwood Canyons, Snowbasin is a gem of a resort, located 45 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport and eight miles from Ogden Valley.

Val Sarentino / Reinswald

Thanks to modern equipment for artificial snow, the best tracks are at ski- and snowboard freaks' disposal. Three ski-lifts and a six seat telpher cage will take you in a few minutes up to over 2.000 metres height.

Winter in the valley Senales stands for total immersion in winter sports. Dense snow is assured, the ski runs are well-kept and apres-ski activities are leisurely and relaxing.
