Mount Snow offers a wide variety of terrain and challenge for all abilities. The resort is located near major metropolitan areas such as New York City, Boston, Albany, and Hartford. Gentle beginners slopes, blue cruisers, challenging black diamonds, technical tree terrain, four freestyle terrain parks, and a Superpipe guarantee there is something for everyone at Mount Snow. The Main Mountain is the heart of resort activities and events. Twelve lifts access the varying terrain with a newly added 6 person bubble lift, including the majority of learning terrain. More advanced skiers and riders will enjoy the 12 trails and two lifts on the North Face. The Sunbrook area, on the south face of the mountain, features 10 trails serviced by two lifts with great open-trail skiing and riding, especially on those sunny days. Carinthia offers some steep pitches like Mine Shaft and Lower Nitro, but also has a good variety of terrain for those looking to mix it up.
