General info:

The Millennium Park is a prominent civic center next to Lake Michigan. The park features a variety of architecture collection, landscape design and art that provide the backdrop for hundreds of free cultural programs including concerts, exhibitions, tours and family activities. The Cloud Gate (more commonly known as private://The Beanprivate://)is a must see site designed by British artist Anish Kapoor. The way the sculpture reflects the city, sky, and passers-by keeps everyone entertained.

It is a Grant Park's outdoor performing arts venue for small events. The Millennium Park also includes the AT&T Plaza (where the Cloud Gate is), the Crown Fountain, the Lurie Garden, the McCormick Tribune Plaza, the Harris Theater, the Wrigley Square and the Boeing Galleries – a pair of outdoor exhibition spaces within Millennium Park, located along the south and north mid-level terraces, above and east of Wrigley Square and the Crown Fountain.
