General info:

The ski resort Mürren – Schilthorn is the highest-altitude ski region in the Bernese Oberland and allows an impressive view on the Swiss mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. On a ski holiday in Mürren – Schilthorn skiers can enjoy steep slopes and long downhill runs. From the Schilthorn mountain (2973 m), the highest peak in the area, a demanding slope leads down to the family friendly ski village of Mürren and then continues to Lauterbrunnen. On its way it descends 2000 metres in altitude. From the Piz Gloria restaurant on the Schilthorn peak (where James Bond has been residing) winter tourists have a great 360 degree view. Winter hiking trails and toboggan runs make a winter holiday in Mürren – Schilthorn attractive even for non-skiers.
