General info:

For your holiday in the French Alps there isn’t another resort that matches the huge range of activities on offer than the resort of Les 2 Alpes. In the winter Les 2 Alpes is an amazing off piste paradise, in the summer the 3200m high glacier offers skiing even in the middle of august. Mix that with a beautifully preserved heritage, vibrant nightlife and a traditional mountain atmosphere, Les 2 Alpes really is an extraordinary place to holiday. The ski resort of Les 2 Alpes is a ski mecca: 430 hectares of marked ski runs stretching from 1300 to 3600 metres above sea level. The Les 2 Alpes Freestyle Snowpark has been evolving for close to fifteen years, it is now setting the standard for other parks all over the world. New handrails, freshly carved halfpipes and new features appear almost daily. On top of that, Les 2 Alpes has some of Europe’s best freeride, the most famous is that of the Meije Valleys, leading over to La Grave. Les 2 Alpes is like a real adventure playground where you can fly in a two-seater glider, wander in the great outdoors on snowshoes, ski and discover the magical world of ice cave at 3400m all in the same day. After an active day outdoors, there are plenty of places to relax, go for a massage in one of the fitness centres, treat yourself to a relaxation session at the spa and body treatments centre. Get pampered with a facial or a manicure in the beauty salon. Indulge yourself with a shiatsu massage or lose yourself in a sensory bubble and find your inner self in a moment of real calm and serenity. For others there is always the choice of taking a stroll down the wide main street lined with shops and a pedestrianized zone for all your shopping fixes (approximately 145 stores open throughout the season). In Les 2 Alpes, when the ski slopes close, the heart of the resort comes alive. The bars and pubs illuminate their signs and welcome the hordes of thirsty skiers for the happy hour. You can share a meal with family or friends in one of the many establishments in the resort of Les 2 Alpes: from fast food to themed cuisine, or even fine dining there is a huge choice for all. Later, the party animals break loose and find themselves under the floodlit music bars or nightclubs which stay open till dawn. The locals and staff in Les 2 Alpes bend over backwards to make your holiday in the mountains special. With family or friends it’s a great place to spend some good times with loved ones. The resort has recently joined Frances national list of certified private://Family plus Mountainprivate:// resorts, guaranteeing a good reception, entertainment, activities and services dedicated to families. It’s worth a note that all the facilities for children are gathered right in the heart of Les 2 Alpes; nursery, day care and recreation centre, for kids from 6 months to 12 years old, the three facilities all under one roof! To get your kids up and skiing safely the snow garden is in place with trained French ski school instructors. Classes are available for either full days, half days and are specially adapted to help young children to enjoy the discovery of skiing. These classes are suitable for children up to 6 years old before integrating them into normal ski lessons.
