General info:

Just take a look at these numbers – 6 kilometers of road, 15 out of the 25 largest hotels in the world, with an overall capacity of over 62,000 rooms. If you’re thinking of the Las Vegas Strip, you’re right! This is an iconic part of Las Vegas and most of the famous city-attractions are here.

You’ve probably already seen it as it was featured in almost every film, music video, or a postcard from Las Vegas. The Las Vegas strip starts, at its southern end, with a massive pyramid, the Luxor Las Vegas hotel. The next hotel ahead is the world’s 2nd largest hotel by the number of rooms, the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Las Vegas hotel owners admired the architecture of New York so much that they’ve decided not to copy it, but to build their own Big Apple. New York Hotel & Casino consists of several buildings meant to evoke the skyline of New York. Here you can see the replicas of the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, amongst the others. The same story is with the Paris Las Vegas hotel, which is located in the center of the Strip, across the Bellagio hotel and the world-famous Bellagio Fountains.

Getting there:

The Las Vegas is a part of the Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada. It’s most southern part is an area around Mandalay Bay, while as the northern border is considered the Stratosphere tower.

Costs:

There are dozens of different hotels and casinos along the Strip that offer all kinds of entertainment. However, all of them have one thing in common - all are upscale.
