Right at the heart of the Haute-Tarentaise region of the French Alps, the friendly resort of La Rosière (1850 m). The beautiful south facing resort respects traditional mountain architecture and is therefore very popular with people wishing to discover an authentic ski break. Linked with the resort of La Thuile in Italy, La Rosière is also the only Savoyard resort be part of an international ski area, the Espace San Bernardo which has 150 kilometres of ski runs. The resort enjoys high quantities of sun (South facing slopes on the French side) and excellent snow conditions (North facing slopes on the Italian side). The Espace San Bernardo allows all types of snow sports on its slopes. Situated between Mont Blanc and its surrounding valleys, the resort offers something for everyone; easy ski runs to more sporting ones, traditional villages and untouched forests, untracked powder fields and heli-skiing, with all this on offer you can be nothing but seduced by the charms of both French La Rosière and its Italian sister La Thuile.
