Kongsberg ski resort is only 1 hour drive from Oslo, offer 10km of groomed runs, and has a drop of 330m. There are 5 ski lifts, including a 4-seat express lift, and the combined lift capacity is 7200 persons per hour. There are runs for every taste, from demanding to very easy, and a designated children's area with its own ski lift ensures that the small ones are happy. Kongsberg is known as an Eldorado for snowboarders and jibbers, and naturally has a great snowpark with a well-prepared halfpipe and its own ski lift. Starting from Kongsberg ski resort, Nordic skiers can access 55km of prepared cross-country tracks, as well as 400km additional marked trails in the area.
