General info:

Ski area Klínovec is the largest ski resort inprivate://Krušné hory/ Ore Mountains, with transportation capacity of 8050 persons / hour. It is located only 120 km northwest of Prague and in close proximity to the border on Germany and Oberwiesenthal centre. Traditionally throughout the season it offers excellent snow conditions on 12 km downhill courses of all difficulty levels, spread on about 35 hectares that are 80% secured with technical snow. Before the coming season the resort has undergone a major modernization and skiers and snowboarders can expect a number of innovations. Several ski lifts were replaced by a modern and fast four- chair cable car with the protective covers as the only one in the Czech Republic. At the same time there were prolonged and extended the downhill coursesl courses and was strengthened the system for covering with snow. Then was installed a new system of cash desks and check -in system, which enabled the introduction of multi-day common tickets with the neighbouring resort Oberwiesenthal in the FRG. On Klínovec you will find 3 chairlifts and 7 ski lifts. There is a snowpark with the first -class U ramp of class FIS Superpipe and also 30 km of groomed trails. We do not forget the little children. We will look after them and they will find entertainment in the baby skipark with free ski lift. Families will appreciate a wide range of family tickets. Other services are Ski schools, equipment rentals, restaurant, snack-bar and the bar umbrella. Of course there is parking for 700 cars free of charge
