When Kinopalatsi opened in 1998, it was the first multiplex cinema in Finland. It has 10 movie theatres, all equipped with the latest sound systems. Even though th ecomplex was opened in 1998, the first movie theatre in this building was opened already in 1939 and there has been movie theatres here ever since. For the opening of Kinopalatsi the old Metropol –theatre was renowated to its original look from 30´s. Also the lobby with the ticket desks was renowated in the spirit of 30´s. Luckily the technology is not kept at the level of 30´s.

Tickets on weekends: Adults 12€, Children under 11 years 8,5€. Other times are somewhat cheaper.

A year round sports centre located high above the city of Sollefteå, giving a splendid view of the Ångermälven river valley. Facilities include a biathlon stadium, 70/90 M ski jump and runs up to 1.5 KM long.

Hafjell is located 15km north of Lillehammer, and is an Olympic arena with a wide variety of runs. 16 ski lifts provide access to a total of 40,5km of slopes, and the longest run is 7,5km long.

Grong Skisenter is the largest alpine center in Northern-Trøndelag. The center is situated in Grong municipality, between the cities of Trondheim and Brønnøysund, 10 km south of Grong city Mediå.

Funasdalsberget is one of Swedens most snow secure places. High, grand mountains are welcoming both Cross country skiers, Snowboarders and Alpine skiers.

Fulufjellet is an intimate and family friendly ski resort, in the heart of the Trysil region. Fulufjellet has 2 ski lifts, 9 runs for all skill levels, and a drop of 230 m.
