In the south of Admont on a highness of 1100 metres a wide highplateau is rising. The appealing Nature landscape of Kaiserau is located near the national park Gesäuse and is a part of the Reichensteingruppe, which peak is the pyramid of the 2196 metres high Admonter Kalbling. Through the 1941 buildt Oberst Klinke Hütte, which is accessible from the Kaiserau over a tollway, also the alpine development of the area has begun. The ski resort Kaiserau presents itself with easy and hard slopes for beginners and trained wintersports man. Whoever is on vacation on the wintersport area Kaiserau, will find very well prepared tracks besides an impressive scenic setting.

Under-developed ski area little known outsuide France and close to the Italian border ( 22km/16 miles away over a pass open in Summer). Limited facilities but friendly, relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere and very reasonable prices.
