Kaieteur Falls is often regarded as one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. It is a rare combination of a very tall waterfall on a high volume river making it one of the most powerful waterfalls on the planet.

There are a handful of ways to get there but the most common is a daytrip from Georgetown. The flight from Georgetown takes about an hour. Usually you can combine another sight like Orinduik Falls to your trip by paying a little extra. The day trips also include a lunch.
