Jasná- Chopok ski resort is located in the Liptov region. Close to Liptovský Mikuláš in Demänovská Dolina on the northern slopes of the Low Tatras. It is surrounded by beautiful nature. The ski resort Chopok Sever has got the longest ski slopes in Slovakia in 3 areas: Záhradky, Jasná and Otupné. Ski resort Chopok North is connected to the ski resort Chopok South (Srdie?ko and Kosodrevina). Purchased ski-pass is valid in both resorts. There are also 3 freeride zones. This ski resort hosts the largest ski events in Slovakia. The center offers perfect accommodation in hotels, guest houses and apartments.

Durango Mountain Resort, known forever to locals only as private://Purgatory,private:// is a four-season resort bounded by spired peaks on three sides and high desert to the south. The Animas River bisects the town.
