General info:

Is Arenas Golf & Country Club is situated in an area where vast pine woods extend to a 4 kilometres of sandy shoreline.

The layout of the course was designed by the famous American golf course architects Von Hagge, Smelek and Baril who sculpted the 18 holes par 72 within a private pine forest of 700 hectares and natural sand dunes. The course is 6,300 meters long. Every hole presents a natural frame of pines and junipers and is characterized by the unique and beautiful design. A 3 holes, par 9 executive course is also available as well as a driving range with more than 40 posts. The course is open 365 days a year and is not exposed to wind or high temperatures.
“Mondo del Golf” voted Is Arenas as the “Best newly built course of 2001” and it always considers it as one of the top 20 most beautiful courses in Italy.
It is also one of the first golf courses in Italy that had joined the project “committed to the green”, sponsored from the European Golf Federation and the Ecology Unit, with the contribution of the European Union, in order to minimize the environmental impact and the natural reserves consumption caused by the golf courses.
