Hamburger SV is a sport association based in Hamburg, world famous for its football team the HSV. One of the oldest clubs in the world HSV has lots of bright moments in its 126 years long history. It is the only club that has never been relegated from the German Bundesliga since the foundation.

Nowadays HSV are playing-style is very attractive to watch. Led by their captain Rafael van der Vaart, the Hamburg side is scoring lots of goals, making their fans rushing to the stadium. HSV home ground is Imtech Arena, commonly referred as the Volksparkstadion. It is one of the biggest in Europe, with the capacity of 57,000 seats. That is why it was one of the venues of the 2006 World Cup.

Getting there: 

The stadium address is Sylvester Allee 7. The Imtech-Arena is located in the outskirts of Hamburg, so the best way to get there is by train. Eidelstedt train station is just a block away.

Costs: 

The entrances to the station when a game is played vary, depending on the opponent and the importance of the match. It is not easy to get a ticket at the stadium as the most of the seats are reserved. If you’re planning to watch a game, it’s better to buy a ticket online.

With the cable railway or with the chairlift you come to the skiarea Höfener Alm. You can lift with the new 4 person chair lift or with the two T-bar lifts. For beginners we have two T-bar lifts in Höfen by Schollenwiesen.

The ski resort Riesneralm affords slopes in all difficulties. You can also find many deep powder variants. Each track got a special feature and an own name.

Skiing in a smaller skiing area doesn’t have to be boring-especially not when there´s a possibility to combine a skiing day with another skiing area.
