Walking around the city of Amsterdam gives you the insight of Dutch architecture, listening to Dutch music and visiting museums introduces you to the culture of Holland, but if you want to get the full picture of life in this part of Europe, you need to get your taste buds into action. Try out some of the Netherland’s national dishes in a pleasant family-owned restaurant near Vondelpark. There are several excellent restaurants in this area, but considering the atmosphere and the quality of food, the Hap-Hmm restaurant is Triptipper´s recommendation.

Overtoom station serving trams 3 and 12 and bus 353, is less than hundred meters from the Hap-Hmm restaurant.

The altitude of the ski area Axamer Lizum (1583 – 2340 m) provides snow reliability from mid November until the end of April. Moreover, 75 % of the pistes can be groomed with snowmaking equipment.

Bad Kohlgrub - Hörnle

In the winter you sit at the front door of a skiers´ paradise at an elevation of 900 meters. A wide range of possibilities awaits you here whether you fancy downhill or cross-country skiing or all other snow sports.

Bad Wiessee

The Sonnbichl, the ski area Bad Wiessee’s local mountain, ranges up to an altitude of 1020 m and has several pistes to offer for skiers and snowboarders as well as the breathtaking panorama view on the Tegernsee.
