Hamburger Kunsthalle museum of art is the cultural center of Hamburg. The museum complex consists of three buildings of different age. The oldest part of Hamburger Kunsthalle was built in the 19th century, while the newest addition came in 1997. Located in the central part of Hamburg, near the Main Train Station and the lake Binnenalster, the Hamburger Kunsthalle is an unavoidable tourist checkpoint.

Hamburger Kunsthalle museum proudly exhibits its collection of art, ranging from medieval times to modern days. Works of Max Liebermann, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso and other significant artists are exhibited permanently.
