The Ground Zero Museum Workshop exhibits 80 photos taken during the recovery efforts at Ground Zero as well as selected artifacts collected during the recovery. Gary Marlon Suson, the Official Photographer of the Uniformed Firefighters Association and founder of the Ground Zero Museum Workshop, was the only person authorized to take photographs at Ground Zero during the 11 month long recovery effort. Therefore you wont see pictures like this anywhere else.

The museum also features lifelike private://3-D Installationsprivate:// that place viewers right into the private://holeprivate:// at Ground Zero. Certain items/artifacts are allowede to be picked up and handled. Observing the weight and density of such items helps one to have a better understanding of the size and mass of the towers.

The museum is not located at Ground Zero but in the MEAT-PACKING DISTRICT, 7 min. by private://Eprivate:// subway from WTC site.

Costs: 

Admission to the Ground Zero Museum Workshop is only available with advance reservations for a 2-hour timed tour.
Admission is $25.00 per person for the 2-hour tour and $19.00 reduced admission for Senior Citizens (65+) and children aged 12 and under. Self-Guided Audio Tours in Italian, French, English & Spanish (included). The admission benefits 9/11 and FDNY Charities.
