General info:

Well prepared ski-tracks, surrounded from untouched nature, the wide view in the Inntal and on the peaks of the Nordkette – Powder snow and much sun – that’s the panorama-skiing area Glungezer. The Glungezer is a mountain in the Tuxer Alps in Tyrol south-east from Innsbruck. The peak of the Glungezer has a highness of 2677 metres. With that it surmounts the much more known Patscherkofel by more than 400 metres. But from Innsbruck only the Sonnenspitze (2639 metres), a peak located in 500 metres away in the north-west, is to be seen. The wintersport area is a popular under Alpine and Touring friends. At the Glungezer the longest slope in Tyrol is located. Rustic cabins and a cosy restaurant at the Halsmarter invite to come in.
