Piau Engaly, one of the highest resort of the French Pyrenees, is situated at 1850 m in altitude, close to the National Parc of the Pyrenees.
In Oberhof situated at the „Rennsteig“, a famous Thuringian hiking path, alpine and especially cross country skiers will get their money’s worth. Two ski lifts carry you up to lots of slopes and trails suitable for any requirements.
Alpine skiers and snowboarders have the choice among 28 lifts, from baby-lift to small-cabin mountain railway. On 40 kilometres of ski-runs, all kinds of difficulty turn winter sports into an experience for everyone.
Located in the heart of the spectacular Kananaskis Valley, Nakiska was specifically designed to host the alpine events of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.
There is chairlift access to the skiing from both sides of the mountain. In Bischofsgrun there are three lifts serving trails with lighting for night skiing, and two with snow-making.
