Edelweiss is a ski resort in the Gatineau region of the Canadian Province of Quebec. The resort features new snow guns, a new grooming machine, and a fully renovated pavilion. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers a tubing park, the largest in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Edelweiss is home to 18 ski trails (44% beginner, 33% intermediate, 17% advanced, 6% expert) spread out over 160 acres of skiable terrain. The resort also offers a wide array of bars and restaurants for dining and has a first class ski and snowboard school.

The ski resort Starý smokovec offers more than just skiing. There are easy and moderate slopes , so it is suitable for beginners and also more advanced skiers. You can get to Hrebienok by a ground cable car.
