General info:

Dubrovnik is one of the most important holiday resorts of Croatia, being located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. The Summer Festival starts on July 10 and lasts for 45 days, until August 25. Other smaller festivals are hosted often close to the most important venues of the city, such as Lokrum Island. Most events take place during summer, especially in August.

The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and many elements of Renaissance architecture can still be seen, even if the 1677 earthquake devastated most of the city. Some important monuments in Dubrovnik are the Rector’s Palace, the St. Savior Church and St Blaise’s Church. Another important element of the past are the walls of the city, which have a length of more than 2 kilometers. Of course, one should not miss the beaches while visiting Dubrovnik.

Getting there:

The easiest way to reach Dubrovnik from the airport is by taking the shuttle bus that leaves from outside the main terminal. Private shuttle buses are also available for larger groups.

Val Sarentino / Reinswald

Thanks to modern equipment for artificial snow, the best tracks are at ski- and snowboard freaks' disposal. Three ski-lifts and a six seat telpher cage will take you in a few minutes up to over 2.000 metres height.

Val Senales / Schnals

Winter in the valley Senales stands for total immersion in winter sports. Dense snow is assured, the ski runs are well-kept and apres-ski activities are leisurely and relaxing.

Weinebene

The ski resort Weinebene is situated at an altitude of 1580 – 1886 m on the border between the provinces of Carinthia and Styria. It is an ideal destination for skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and day-trippers.

Veitsch - Brunnalm

The Hohe Veitsch is located in the Mürzzuschlag- district in Steiermark. The peak, with a highness of 1082 metres is located at the Mürzsteger Alps.

Velka Raca

The ski area, located in Kysucké Beskydy is stretched along a mountain ridge up to 1236m ( you can hike to the top if you like) with ski runs descending through the trees in to two valleys.
