Breuil-Cervinia (2050 m) is a modern ski resort at the foot of Mount Cervino. It has an impressive offering: 150 km of slopes above Valtournenche, 24 ski lifts and an international connection to Zermatt, Switzerland. The Cime Bianche Laghi-Plateau Rosà gondola and the Bontadini chair lift allow skiers to cross the border and enjoy a total of 350 km of slopes. From the top of Plateau Rosà it's possible to ski down to Zermatt or else take the Ventina trail, a 12 km long slope that descends over 1000 m from the trail head (3480 m) to the of the village of Cervinia (2050 m). Snowboarding enthusiasts will enjoy Indianpark, which is considered one of the best snowparks in the Alps: it's replete with rails and kickers and is served by the Fornet chair lift.
