Catamount ski area is located on the border of Massachusetts and New York and only about a 15-mile ride from the Northwest Connecticut border. The Megaplex trail, which is dedicated to snowboarding, features a 400-foot halfpipe and includes a terrain park featuring a variety of hits, including Rails, Table Tops, and a big Air Jump. It is serviced by its own surface lift. You also will find seven lifts that include four double chairs, one J-bar, and two surface lifts.
