General info:

This twin beach is among the 2 best beaches in Menorca, together with the Cala Mitjana. Cala Macarella & Macarelleta are the subject of around 50% of the postcards sold in Menorca. Completely for a good reason though, the beaches are simply awesome. The turqoise water with rocky walls rising from the side creates a magnificent setting that one could adimre all day long. The water is obviously clear as a crystal and watching from the right angle it looks like the boats are levitating. To be frank, Cala Macarella & Macarelleta are good rivals in the top beaches of the world competition. Once in Menorca, this beach is something you must experience. Just remember to keep the beach and sea clean! There is a kiosk/restaurant next to the beach so if you don´t have your picnic basket with you, there is possibility to grab some food&cold drinks.

Getting there:

The beaches are pretty easily accessible by car. At some sections the road is supernarrow with rocky walls on both sides so careful with the car! The parking lot is about 200m from the beach.

Costs:

The beach is free but parking is 5€.
